Eastham Bonfire Night 2022

Every year in Eastham, on November 5, we come together to celebrate Bonfire Night, all over the county of Merseyside we gather around the bonfire.

The conspirators were taken into custody here once they learned about the plan.

The Parliament decided that the 5th of November would be a day to be thankful for.

Which eventually led to the Bonfire Night.

• It’s very common for many people in the UK to burn an effigy, a homemade model of a man, very similar to a scarecrow. The effigy is usually made out of paper and straw and stuffed with old clothes.
